The Amber Glass Mosaic Tiles series features 32 colors, with a size of 23mm x 23mm and a thickness of 6mm. The formation of the Amber series involves melting colorants with glass, creating transparent glass with flowing textures, similar to the natural formation of amber.

Amber tiles are also an excellent choice for pools. While blue is a popular color, you can also choose from shades of gray.

Amber tiles come in several installation options. These methods refer to how the mosaic tiles are connected between particles. The overall size of the Amber mosaic tile sheet is 300mm x 300mm, with 144 individual tiles. Since Amber tiles are transparent, there are four possible installation methods:.
This is the most traditional mosaic tile installation method. The tiles are mounted on a layer of kraft paper. After installation, the paper is washed off with water, and the gaps between tiles are cleaned before grouting.
Similar to the kraft paper method, but with a transparent adhesive film, which makes it easier to align the tiles and see the surfaces of the mosaic tiles more clearly.
This is the most common installation method for all of our mosaic tiles. However, with Amber tiles, the transparent glass allows the underlying mesh to be visible, which some customers feel detracts from the aesthetic.
This is the newest method, where glue is dripped into the gaps between tiles. Once the glue hardens, installation can proceed. While the glue spots are visible through the glass, they are not very noticeable.
Because Amber mosaic tiles are transparent, it's important to choose the right adhesive. We generally recommend using a white adhesive, as using black or gray adhesives can darken the entire appearance of the tiles. However, if you want a darker look, you may opt for a darker adhesive. For cement walls or wooden surfaces, we recommend treating the surface before installation. You can use white tile adhesive as a primer or spray-paint the surface for better adhesion.
Grout color selection is crucial for Amber mosaic tiles. We recommend choosing a grout color that is slightly lighter than the tile color. If you don’t have a perfect match, white grout is a safe option for lighter tiles. For darker Amber tiles, a light gray grout is ideal. Additionally, crystal grout (semi-translucent grout) can help create a smoother blend between tiles and grout, enhancing the overall look.
