Vitreous Glass Mosaic Tiles

Vitreous Glass Mosaic Tiles are primarily made from high-quality raw materials such as quartz sand, soda ash, fluorspar, and fine sand pigments. These materials are heated to a molten state at approximately 1350°C and then poured into specially designed molds. Afterward, the tiles undergo an annealing process, which gives them their unique texture and surface finishes, including sand-like speckles, iridescent effects, and golden sand flow patterns.

Vitreous Glass Mosaic Tiles

Vitreous Glass Mosaic Tiles Series

The Vitreous Glass series is a highly versatile and ideal decorative material, known for its rich colors, unique shapes, and diverse sizes. Its key features lie in both the surface and the bottom design: the surface offers not only vibrant colors but also textured, iridescent, and painted finishes. The bottom features grooves that enhance adhesion to mortar, ensuring better bonding. The tiles have beveled edges at a 45-degree angle, making it easy to achieve precise 90-degree corner installations without additional cutting. This makes them especially suitable for wall applications.

Materials and Craftsmanship

The Vitreous Glass series is crafted from high-quality materials, including quartz sand, soda ash, fluorspar, and fine sand pigments. After being heated to a molten state at approximately 1350°C, the material is poured into specially designed molds. The tiles are then annealed, forming their unique texture and finish.

Shapes and Colors

This series offers various shapes, including square, rectangular, hexagonal, and triangular, providing a wide range of possibilities for creating patterns and color block combinations. The rich colors and surface effects make it perfect for a variety of designs.

Applications

The Vitreous Glass series can be used in both indoor and outdoor environments, making it particularly ideal for areas exposed to water, such as pools, bathrooms, and other wet environments. With its non-porous and waterproof properties, it is a perfect choice for both aesthetic and functional purposes.

Installation Recommendations

Vitreous Glass mosaic tiles are suitable for installation on a variety of surfaces, including cement walls, wood panels, and glue boards. For cement walls, tile adhesive is recommended, while for wood and glue boards, glass adhesive is the best option. Ensure that the surface is smooth and level before installation for optimal results.

Cutting Recommendations

For cutting, we recommend using a tile cutter to achieve clean, precise cuts. Both dry cutting and wet cutting are acceptable, but thin blades, especially glass-cutting blades, should be used to ensure accuracy and clean edges.

Grout Selection

For aesthetic cohesion, we suggest choosing a grout color that complements the tile color, preferably a slightly lighter shade. There are also crystal grout options available on the market that work well with the Vitreous Glass tiles. Additionally, we offer custom grout color services to meet specific design needs.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Vitreous Glass tiles are easy to maintain. Simply use clean water or a mild cleaning agent to wipe the surface. This makes them an ideal choice for both high-traffic areas and wet environments where ease of maintenance is essential.
